I’m an energetic and driven Exercise Science major at Delta State University, where I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science with aspirations to forge a career as both a professional pickleball player and a licensed physical therapist.
Pickleball Career Highlights
In November 2024, I achieved a significant milestone. I qualified to compete in the Lapiplasty® Pickleball World Championships. This was a premier event held in Dallas, Texas. I was excited. The competition featured both professional and amateur players. In fact, over 3,500 amateur players participated in the event, competing in singles, mixed doubles, and women’s and men’s doubles. I competed with the other amateurs. It was a great opportunity. It was my first big tournament experience, and to be honest, it was a humbling one. (In the image above, I’m the guy on the left.)
This year, I have earned the opportunity to compete again in the 2025 Jenius Bank Pickleball World Championships (Nov 3–9). This annual event is a high-impact, week-long festival featuring pro qualifiers, championship brackets, and some pretty cool events at the Brookhaven Country Club in the Dallas area.
Coaching & Certifications
So, what do I do when I’m not competing? Well, I am currently certified as a PPR Associate Coach. I coach players of all ages in both group and one-on-one pickleball instruction. I also had the chance to volunteer in 2024 with Picklemania in Memphis to introduce elementary school students to the sport’s fun and fundamentals.
As a student at Delta State, I’ve been able to obtain a credential in Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED. I hope that will add a layer of safety and professionalism to my coaching and training sessions.
Mission & Vision
On and off the court, I hope that part of my mission will be to inspire and empower.
Whether I’m guiding someone through their first rally or competing on one of pickleball’s grandest stages, I hope I can embody the spirit of growth, mentorship, athleticism, and future-focused impact.
Yep! That’s who I am. It’s nice to meet you! Do you need a coach?
